Currently, Hawaii School systems are experiencing cut backs, which is taking art, music, and creative programs away from the Keiki. There are many reasons the arts are so important and have a profound impact on the future of children. It's the part of life they develop the imagination to think big, develope strong, health mental health, discover the power of their talents and learn more about who their inner self connection is so important.
45% of kids are visual learners and the arts, offers children unique ways to quickly learn and understand how to develop their authentic minds, as they were born to. Were all created equal, but made to function differently, and the arts bridges that gap. The arts, also help kids learn and develop confidence, motor skills, creativity, decision making, focus, collaboration, perseverance, but most importantly, it's a MAJOR factor in having good mental health. Danielle has worked with many children's programs, such as Mele Murals, Hawaii Arts Program, and has lead her own private art classes for up and coming students. Danielle recently, was approached by Hale Anuenue about finding a way to bring the arts back to the children and somehow become the art teacher. Together, Danielle and Hale Anuenue found pure excitement to make this happen. Danielle was not only excited to not only volunteer her time to the kids, but is fully committed in raising the money for scholarships, material, and time to have the classes come to life and become a permeant fixture in the community.
If you would like to donate to the art classes you can Venmo Danielle at the above. Your Donation will be used to buy supplies, help children who need scholarship funding for joining, and for the physical time of it's teacher and helpers.
